Please complete the survey if you took part ⚜️🔥🏕Now the dust is settling on our first Virtual Camp we are starting to reflect on the weekends activities. We have put together a short survey and would be very grateful if you could take a few minutes for complete this for us.

If you have the time, it would be great for each person who took part (parents and well as young people) could complete the survey with their own thoughts. This will help us look at how the event ran for everyone who took part.

The survey can be found HERE: forms.gle/Amh31iuyHeYyPxX89

Thank you in advance, we hope you have many happy memories of the weekend - don't forget the acitivities will be available on the website and YouTube channel.

Sorry to say Derek Hagan the Group Scout leader the s stepping down after a number of years at 5th Prittlewell, we have Charlotte taking over scouts so all will continue to run as normal when that as possible. We do always seem to need leaders and cubs will need at least one more to continue. There is training and support and it is also very rewarding, so if you or somebody you know is looking for a new challenge this a great opportunity. ... See MoreSee Less

Come on 5th Prittlewell lets get creative x⚜️Get Creative! Design a Badge for Essex Scouts

While we aren’t able to meet in our usual places and do all of the things we love as Scouts, lots of your leaders have still been able to organise things for you to do and many of you have been creative in doing your own Scout based activities to Keep on Scouting during lockdown.

Here at Essex Scouts we’d like to celebrate everything you have been doing, however big or small, and want to create a special badge that anyone who has done anything to Keep on Scouting can wear on their uniforms or put on their camp blankets.

We realise that a lot of our leaders have had to take a break as they are keyworkers in helping with the national crisis. We send you our huge thanks.

So here’s the challenge to you.... Draw a design for the special badge to show something Scouting that YOU have done during lockdown. Send it in to us and we’ll look at all of them and choose the most inspiring one to be made into the badge for the whole County to wear. More information is available at www.essexscouts.org.uk/story/get-creative-design-a-badge-for-essex-scouts/
